Nestled in the picturesque Julian Alps, Camping Šobec, one of the biggest campiste in Slovenia and a premier campsite destination that offers an idyllic escape for families and outdoor enthusiasts. With its natural lake, and wide range of sports facilities, the campsite provides endless opportunities for relaxation and adventure.
Camping Šobec faced several challenges when it came to its website. The campsite's existing website was outdated and difficult to navigate, which made it hard to attract new customers and fair conversion rate. The management team recognized the need for a new website that would showcase the campsite's unique features, benefits and accommodations while also providing a seamless user experience.
Another challenge was structuring the website in a way that effectively highlighted the wide range of amenities and activities available at the campsite. With so many options to choose from, it was important to ensure that the website provided clear, easy-to-find information that would appeal to all types of campers.
To begin the project, our team conducted in-depth research on Camping Šobec's offerings and target audience. We also conducted a competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and to gain insights into how other campsites in the region were positioning themselves.
Based on our research, we identified several key objectives for the new website. These included highlighting the campsite's unique features and benefits, improving the user experience, optimizing the site for all devices and search engines, integrating social media to reach a wider audience and improving the conversion rate.
